THROWING the SWITCH

God is light, and in that light there can be no darkness of limitation. We are told (in Scripture) “Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil…” (Habakkuk 1:13). It may be helpful to take inventory of your needs… This list, however, is not for God, but to remind you of what you are holding onto. Once the list is complete, then its purpose has been fulfilled. Lay it aside. … Now you are ready to let God.

The whole universe is conspiring to establish you in health and harmony. Let go and let it unfold. The universe is calling you to wholeness.

Prayer does not make answers. It simply accepts answers that are always within. “Before they call, I will answer” (Isaiah 65:24).

When we form a consciousness of the presence of God, whose pleasure it is to give us the Kingdom, we realize that prayer is not conquering God’s reluctance. It is synchronizing ourselves in consciousness with the cosmic flow, which is God’s eternal willingness.

God is life, and life is whole.

In Job we read, “Thou shalt also decree a thing and it shall be established unto thee, and light shall shine upon thy ways” (Job 22:28). It doesn’t shine because we decree it. It shines because the universe is calling, and because the decree is the movement in our consciousness to synchronize the light within, which is eternal.

Jesus understood this process, and his life was a tribute to its effectiveness.

When people heard Jesus saying, “I am the light of the world,” they thought he was referring to himself, that he was announcing that he was God, or God’s special agent. But he was simply affirming the truth, or “throwing the switch.”
